Shout Outs
From TWO former students to Madame Allday
Hi Madame Allday this is Suha Mohiuddin your former french student from 2 years ago. So I recently just graduated in the Class of 2018 and my parents decided to take me to Europe for the summer. We ended up going to London, Amsterdam, and Paris. When I found out we were going to Paris I was so excited. France is such a beautiful country and was exactly how you described it! We went to the Louvre museum, Arc de Triomphe, and Notre Dame which were all very architectural and meaningful places. I remember you talked about those places in class a lot! My French skills did come handy for when we were lost on the streets and had no idea where we were going. Although my French wasn’t perfect I still used it and had so much fun speaking this beautiful language with other French people! Thank you so much for being an amazing French teacher and I hope you have an amazing rest of the year! We miss you !
Bonjour, Madame!
It’s Kaitlyn Graham. Your favorite student from 2015-2017. I’m so sorry I haven’t really visited you, but I did attempt to last year. I promise! But McMillen stopped me because I didn’t have a visitor ID, no matter the PESH ID around my neck.
How are you? I miss you tons! I’m not going to lie to you... I haven’t really kept up with French. I kind of would like to revisit it and refresh myself, but I’m not sure really how to do that. Senior year is really kicking my butt. It’s supposed to be the easiest year, but I decided I’d take 3 AP classes because why not? I wish I would’ve lived in the moment when I was at McMillen.
Ella Moxcey is still my best friend, and we were both wondering if it’d ever be possible to visit you. We get out of school after 5th period, so if your off period were around that time, we’d definitely be able to come! We can also attempt after school or something like that. We really miss you! We’d like to catch up. Just let me know. Love you lots!
Love,
Kaitlyn.
To Lindsay Barnhill and Trang Nguyen
To the Geography Team from Veronica
So I have to brag on Lisa Lambert and the World Geography team today for doing an awesome job on a cool assignment called Hungry Planet. Students were asked to observe different cultures from across the globe through one common aspect, “what we eat”. I think the students and teachers had a great time.
