Important Information
Our doors are locked throughout the entire school day. We ask that you buzz in through the front door and please don't be offended if we ask your name and purpose for the school visit. Please do not be offended if we ask for identification once you are at the office. Additionally, please do not hold the door open for another individual. Let them buzz in so that we are aware of who is coming into the building. We pride ourselves in knowing our school community, but if we are not familiar with an individual then we will ask for identification.
Remember to always call the attendance line if your child is sick or at an appointment. Emailing the teacher may be done in addition to calling the attendance line. If only the teacher is emailed and the teacher is absent, then the office doesn't receive the message which results in calls having to be made.
The end of the day is a busy time for the office. If there are changes in pick-up, then please let the office know ASAP. We know that there might be times when a last minute change is necessary and that life happens. This is more than understandable. Please call at least 2 hours prior if at all possible to notify the office of changes, so classes aren't constantly being interrupted with changes.
Additionally, your child should be using Walkers Circle if they are consistently being picked up from school. Please avoid using the front entrance as this is a high traffic area for our school at the end of the day and a busy time of day as well. If you must use the front entrance then please remain in the foyer.
Reminders - Early Release and Spring Break
From Friday, 3/30 through Sunday, 4/8 school is not in session due to Spring Break. School will resume on Monday, 4/9. Enjoy the time with your family and hopefully some nice weather!
Parent Place Classes
The first workshop is "Big Emotions-Meltdowns and Tantrums" offered on April 11 from 5:30-7:00 pm. Parents will learn new strategies and techniques in dealing with these everyday struggles. Gain an understanding of how you can influence your child's emotional development.
