All Rights Reserved allows the purchaser to the software to share the software with multiple people on the same network of computers or devices. Most software that you buy at Best Buy would be considered all rights reserved.
Public Domain is when the copyright laws don’t apply because of expiration purchase of a new owner, or created with public money, etc. Classic literature can be an example.
Freeware is copyrighted work that you could copy, use, or give away for free. Itunes is a good example.
Shareware is a free work that you can use free for a limited time or you can purchase the full version. For example, Lite version apps are scaled versions of the real thing.
Open Source is content that can be changes used or freely shared modified or unmodified form. An example is Google Chrome.
