What does SSS mean to you?
-SSS is a program that keeps you in touch with your campus and surrounding community. The group leaders are great at helping you set goals and be an active member in your community by going to events and volunteering together.
What is your favorite part of the Peer Mentor program?
-I really like volunteering at different places in the community. It helps others and gives you something fun to do rather than studying and homework!
What is your favorite college experience thus far?
-My favorite thing about college is all the amazing people I have met!

Why did you want to become a Peer Mentor?
I love to help out people.
What does the SSS department mean to you?
I love Student Support Services! It helped me out so much during my first year. I felt like I knew so much more about campus resources compared to everyone else who was not apart of the program.
What advice would you give all college students, to be successful?
Try new things and get out of your comfort zone. So many opportunities have opened up for me because of that.
Monica Fieck (Peer Mentor Student)
My name is Monica Fieck and I am a Psychology major. SSS means a lot to me because this program has provided me with the tools and resources I need to be successful. I love the one-on-one attention that I receive because I know that I have all the help I'll ever need! My favorite part of the Peer Mentor program is knowing that I have someone there for me to answer my questions and to update me on upcoming events. I like the personal feedback and interactions. My favorite college experience thus far was having the opportunity to study abroad in London, England. It was a highly valuable adventure!
