  Students are required to purchase the following uniform for all formal concert performances. Uniform fitting is done at the first parent meeting in August. Students can order on their own OR order with the school which will include a group discount. Orders will be placed by August 30.

  We need 10-15 emails of friends or family that would help us reach our goal. This Fundraiser will help cover the cost of the Orchestra fees, Uniforms, Atlanta trip and More.

• Calendar of Events

Ridge View High School Orchestra is beginning our fundraiser for our 2023 orchestra program. Our mission is to provide a positive and nurturing environment where all students can develop their musical and technical skills through teamwork, discipline, concentration, and personal achievement — our students have participated in regional and all-state orchestras, and have received top scores in solo and ensemble contests as well as large group performance assessments.

The money we raise will offset costs for the $75 required orchestra fee and will provide orchestra camps, guest clinicians, equipment, concert programs, online student subscriptions, student scholarships, and more. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we've missed out on much-needed fundraising opportunities, so your support matters now more than ever!

Our launch date is Thursday, August 24, 2023. All we need is to have students sign up and provide non-richland2.org emails to help launch this fundraiser drive. Region Orchestra is a wonderful opportunity for students to perform with the finest student musicians in the midlands of South Carolina and to perform under the direction of a nationally/internationally renowned conductor. Colleges look for student accomplishments such as acceptance into these prestigious orchestras, and these events also give students a chance to meet and make new friends around the region/state with similar interests. The Midlands Region Orchestra is a two-day orchestra event for the strongest string players in Richland, Lexington, and Aiken counties. Students who participate in the Region Orchestra may audition for the South Carolina All-State Orchestra, drawing from the most talented players in the entire state.
