PTC Mrs. Mouse's House
The Holidays are near... and, as a special service, our school is hosting our annual “Mrs. Mouse’s House Shop” Saturday December 4 th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the small gym. Children will have the opportunity to pick out their own inexpensive, high quality gifts for family and friends.
Mrs. Mouse’s House is a program designed for children to shop on their own at school, in a safe, non-commercial environment. They can learn to budget their money and spend wisely, while also experiencing the “Joy Of Giving.”
Mrs. Mouse’s House will be set up in the school and will be run by parent and middle school volunteers. Gifts are priced for a child’s budget, ranging from approximately $0.25 to $10.00, with most priced between $3.00 to $7.00. There are gifts available for ALL the members of your family: Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, Friends, Teachers and Pets.
A Shopping Budget Envelope will be given to your student by Nov 30. This will allow you and your child the opportunity to decide together how much can be spent on each person.
Gift Certificates - Available at https://gift-certificates.schoolholidayshop.com Gift Certificates are a great option if you prefer to use a credit card instead of sending your child to school with cash. In addition, you can email family members to sponsor your child. A sponsor/family member can purchase the gift certificate online and have it emailed back to you for your child to use at the holiday shop.
If you are interested in volunteering you can sign up here. If you have any questions please contact: Kate Kraft: kate.glarner@gmail.com or Ana Baker: ana_ball12@hotmail.com

Families and school nurses work together to keep schools healthy
Families must check their children’s health each day. Do not send your student to school if they are positive for COVID-19, have COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive. Use this chart (https://bit.ly/3jyrv3y) to determine if your student needs quarantine or isolation. School nurses or your doctor can answer questions. This video explains how nurses ensure a healthy learning environment during this pandemic: https://youtu.be/QAX_IfB2Ijs
Be sure to send your student with an extra mask
