eBooks for Primary and ESL, iPad Skills- Bookmarking and Airdropping, a Few Testing Motivation Resources
Unite for Literacy: Excellent tool for ESL, World Language and Emergent Readers
Unite for Literacy is an awesome and free eBook collection that is available online and can be used on desktop computers or tablets, like the iPad.
Students can choose to read the texts or have the text read to them in their language of choice. While this is a great tool for emergent readers, this could be an excellent resource for students learning a World Language or for ESL students.
Be sure to bookmark this site on your iPad! (see the video below).
Unite for Literacy Overview
Change the Narration Language
Click the Narration Icon in the top left corner and then choose from the list. This is the language that the text will be read aloud in.
Browse books
You can either choose to browse "All" books or press an icon for books in a category like animals and plants.
Navigate a book
Press a book to open it, and then use the arrows on the left and right to flip forward and back in the book. Press the speaker icon to have the page read.

iPad tip: You can use Airdrop to share websites with students in class
The Airdrop feature on an iPad can be used to share content between iPads that have Airdrop enabled and are within 30 feet of one another.
This could be a useful tool to help all of your students navigate to the correct webpage quickly. The video below will show you the steps to make that happen.
This would be a good, basic iPad skill to practice. Look for me to share more advanced ways to use Airdrop with file sharing in the future.
