Abby is currently in NCL and Belle is on the Varsity dance team for the second year in a row while also being an intern for #ICANHELP. Our goal is to promote inclusivity, PUMA PRIDE, school spirit, and student involvement while creating a memorable school year, regardless of the situation. We’d love the opportunity to serve you so if you’re feeling generous, vote for us, we’d really appreciate it. Have a lovely day!!
Linnea Holmgren and Jaydin Villegas
Bio:
Hi! I am Linnea Holmgren and I have been at Chaparral High school for two years now (Ninth and Tenth). I am a Varsity cheerleader currently, and plan to do cheer throughout high school. I have been in ASB ever since it has been available to me, being 7th grade. This year, even though it’s been virtual, I’ve still managed to be a part of the SADD club and Chaparral’s Stunt team! I want to serve in leadership because I have always been passionate in helping others bring out their inner puma lol! Im am a very outgoing and enthusiastic person especially when it comes to ASB. I LOVE talking to people and when being a part of ASB that can come in handy. Jaydin and I Make a great team, I am the “BOOM!” and she's the “POW!”. In most situations I am the one to make sure the work is getting done and Jaydin is the behind the scenes person saying we appreciate you. You should vote for me as your ASB Junior President.
Hey guys!! It’s Jaydin Villegas and I have been a Puma for almost two years now. I am a part of the Varsity Cheer team and ASB leadership here at Chap. Even with virtual learning, I’ve still managed to continue to try getting more involved! This year, I joined SADD, continued with CSF, and have been a virtual ASB student! I have been doing ASB since 7th grade and plan on continuing until my senior year. I want to take this opportunity to become part of council because I love helping those around me! I feel as though I’m a very kind and understanding person and want to express that in office. I’m also very determined and responsible when I have a task at hand. I want to serve leadership to continue helping others and make a difference on campus for our Pumas. I want people to WANT to come to school and make students feel like they belong on campus. With the inclusion of all students, spreading positive vibes, and making involvement fun, I hope to make a difference and help continue increasing Puma PRIDE! Hope I can count on your vote :) VOTE JAYDIN FOR YOUR JR. VICE PRESIDENT!
Summer Rashidi and Avery Page
Bio:
Hi Pumas! I'm Summer Rashidi, and I'm running to lead Class of 2023 once again. Aside from being one of your current Sophomore Class Presidents, I play volleyball, take advanced classes, and participate in CSF, SADD, and ASB! In my household, I have one younger sister and two very loving and supportive parents. However, my extended family consists of 37 first cousins, who are some of my best friends. Coming from such a large and close net family, I've become highly adaptable and tolerant of all personality and temperament types. I can easily connect with anyone around campus and love building one on one relationships with my peers. As a passionate and natural leader, I care about my classmates and want to continue making a strong impact toward a positive high school experience. Our generation has had an unprecedented and difficult time in the last year, and I am running for Junior Class President to ensure an effective and strong comeback! As class president, I would continue to advocate for an environment that fosters equality where everyone is included and engaged. So please vote Summer and Avery for your Class Presidents to be guaranteed the best Junior year ever!
Hi Pumas! My name is Avery Page and I am running to be your Junior Class Vice President. Throughout my two years here at Chap, I have presented my leadership ability in ASB, girl talk, CHS volleyball, and advanced classes. I have lived my life looking up to my older sister, who has graduated from Chaparral High school and was involved in ASB for four years; she plays a big role in who I am today and has taught me to adjust well in tough situations. My bubbly personality allows me to connect with my peers and I'm always happy to offer my help to those around me. Together Summer and I are advocating for an environment that fosters equality where everyone is included and engaged. With having us represent class of 2023, you can ensure the most memorable Junior year, so vote Summer and Avery to be your Junior Class Presidents!
ASB President and Vice President Candidates
Elizabeth Brown & Mya Santacroce
Bio:
Hey Pumas! My name is Elizabeth Brown. I am running for ASB President alongside my Vice President, Mya Santacroce. I’ve been a Puma for three years now, and have been involved in ASB for all of that time. Not only have I been in ASB since the beginning of my time at CHS, but I am in SADD, CSF, and NHS. My goal for this coming year is to make it so people want to go to school, participate in events, and feel welcome whenever they walk on campus. I believe that I should be ASB President because I have been one of the freshmen representatives and sophomore class president, so I have worked closely with past ASB Presidents before. Because of that I know what it takes to hold this position, and I am ready for the challenge. I know this past year has not been easy for anyone, but it is my goal to make next year the best that I possibly can, hopefully at school, but who knows? We might have missed out on one year, but with Mya and I as your ASB Pres. and VP we will make up for all of that missed time.
Hey everyone! I’m Mya Santacroce and this is my third year as a Puma! I’m currently involved in CSF, Varsity swim and water polo, three AP classes, and ASB. I’m looking to serve as a Chaparral Representative primarily to increase student engagement and provide a welcoming campus culture. School, regardless of grade level, is a second home to it’s student body. With that said, we should treat it as such and ensure all students look forward to activities and spirit days by making participation more prevalent. As I approach my final year of high school, my goal is to see our school become more united than ever. I know our students are extremely capable of such and would be honored to represent Chaparral as the well-established school it is!
Jaden Dew & Ethan Weldon
Bio:
Sup kids, it’s your boys Jaden and Ethan. We’ve been Pumas since the dawn of time, freshman year. We’ve been doing ASB since forever, and are officers in Mock Trial, Science Olympiad, Interact and a ton more clubs as well. We play DnD and we live, laugh, and love. Jaden games and makes dice, and Ethan can juggle. We were in ASB together in 7th grade and ever since we’ve been the best of friends. Ethan’s the idea guy and Jaden is the follow-through man. We’re the perfect team, and we want to serve you because we can make events fun and memorable. We want to make up for missing events last year by giving you the best events you’ve ever seen. Chaparral will be reorganized into the First Galactic Empire. Love you all.
