Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
Let's Keep Our Children Safe!
First Day of School ONLY
The front and back gates will open at 8:25 a.m. and you may walk your child to class. At 8:45 a.m., please drop your child off at the classroom door (do not enter the classroom) and then promptly leave campus to ease students' transition.
Note - After Wednesday, adults will not be permitted on campus unless they are authorized visitors/volunteers and check in at the office. See details below for regular, "closed campus" drop-off and pick-up procedures.

We will ask 1st-5th grade students if they are using the FRONT Gate (by Main Office) or Back Gate (behind the play structure), for pick-up or for walking home. Please ensure that your child knows the location that they will use to dismiss. Expect traffic delays the first few weeks, until students and families become familiar with the process.
School Drop-off and Pickup Options
Parents have 3 options for dropping off students at school
Hand-deliver their student to either the front or back gate
Drive-through drop-off or pickup at either front or back gate
Student Walking
How to Hand-Deliver Students to School
How to Drive-through Drop-off & Pick-up
All students in grades 1-5 may be dropped off and picked up at either the front or back gate, leading to the blacktop. For your convenience and for the safety of our students, we have taught students to line up in their classroom lines for after-school dismissal.
To ensure a timely process and student safety for all families during drive-through drop-off and pickup, please read and adhere to the following:
If you choose to use the drive-thru, adults must remain in their cars.
Parents should make a dashboard sign with their child’s name and grade to display.
Students must be able to buckle/unbuckle and enter/exit the car without assistance. If a student cannot complete these tasks, please park and walk them to the gate.
Students can only load and unload from the car on the passenger (right) side. In order to better supervise our on-campus students, staff will not be assisting with the opening of car doors. Please only use this option if your child(ren) are independent.
For drop-off, backpacks/lunches/and all school materials should be in the seat with the student (no access to the trunk or other seats during drive-through - you will be asked to park).
Please disable all child locks.
At back gate, students will be asked to wait inside gates for their parent/guardian to pull up, during times of pick-up.
How to Be a Student Walker
Bicycle Riding
IMPORTANT - TK and Kindergarten students must be picked-up in person at the Kindergarten gate. Please find parking on Tannin Drive as our lot is only available for staff. Teachers will line up and look for students to point to their parent before releasing them.
Traffic and Parking
Please drive slowly & carefully and obey ALL traffic laws. Do not park or idle in a red zone. This is a safety hazard that would impact the ability for emergency vehicles to access our campus if needed. Your cooperation is appreciated as we strive to maintain good relations with our neighbors.
