The entire feud is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
The feud, mainly Tybalt, is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because the feud leads to violence and death. When Romeo and his friends crash into the capulets party, Tybalt makes a bid deal out of it because they are natural enemies. When Tybalt sees Romeo, "This, by his voice, should be a Montague. Fetch me my rapier, boy. What dares the slave Come hither, covered with an antic face, To fleer ad scorn at out solemnity? Now, by the stock and honour of my kin, To strike him, I hold it not a sin."(Act 1, Scene 5). Tybalt's reaction to Romeo's appearance is significant to the fact that Tybalt is holding on a family grudge and will not let go, this leads to wanting to fight Romeo. After Romeo and Juliet's wedding, Tybalt still is mad about Romeo coming to the party and plans to fight Romeo but ends up fighting Mercutio. Romeo doesn't want to fight but Tybalt and Mercutio do. Romeo explains to Tybalt that he doesn't want to fight, "ROMEO: Tybalt, the reason that I have to love thee Doth my excuse the appertaining rage To such a greeting: villain am I none; Therefore farewell; I see thou know'st me not. TYBALT: Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries That thou hast done me; therefore turn and draw"(Act 3, Scene 1). Romeo tries to reason with Tybalt not to fight because he doesn't want to cause a fight with Juliet's cousin. Instead, Tybalt is high-tempered and wants to fight which causes huge problems.
The movie Endless love is about two high school graduates, Jade Butterfield (Gabriella Wilde) and David Elliot (Alex Pettyfer), who fall in love quickly. Jade's father (Bruce Greenwood) strongly disapproves their relationship and David's father has concerns about the relationship. Despite Jade's and David's parents' disapproval, their love for each other only gets stronger. Endless Love is similar to Romeo and Juliet because Romeo and Juliet's families hated each other and would not approve of the relationship if they know, just like Jade's and David's. Even though Romeo and Juliet's know they should hate each other, their love for each other is unconditional.
Birdy - Skinny Love Lyrics (HQ)
The song "Skinny Love" written by Bon Iver, sang by Birdy, is about an unhealthy relationship and the two people in that relationship try to work it out. "Come on skinny love what happened here? Pour a little salt we were never here" (Bon Iver). The term Skinny Love means malnourished relationship. The narrator wants the relationship to be better and to last, but it just can't. "Pour a little salt" term means that pouring salt on a wound will help the wound heal, figuratively speaking, the narrator tries to heal this doomed relationship. "Skinny Love" relates to Romeo and Juliet because after Romeo kills Tybalt for killing Mercutio, Romeo and Juliet's relationship becomes very difficult and probably will not last. Juliet gets mad at Romeo but wants to be faithful to him. Romeo gets banished and wants to die at first because he is not allowed to go to Veron and see Juliet ever again. It's the same for Juliet because see is forced to marry Paris.
