Main Street Receives State Level Recognition in PBIS

MSMS Obtains the Highest State Level Recognition for PBIS: Platinum

We are proud to announce that PBIS obtained Platinum state level recognition. This has been a group effort. Students and teachers and support staff have been implementing PBIS at Main Street. In 2019 Main Street obtained the Bronze level. With the help of Coordination Of Services Team (COST) we have been able to provide and monitor student interventions at the Tier 2 and Tier 3 Levels. COST team members, Lorenzo Dominguez, Aidee Aldaco, Danelle Mercer, Elena Moreno, Kelly Forest, and Nathalie Trevino work as a team to ensure that our students at Main Street receive appropriate intervention services. Teachers and students are using PBIS Rewards school wide.

In order to obtain Platinum levels not only do we have to show that we are implementing PBIS effectively, we also showed that our academic scores improved.

We want to thank Mr. Torres. and the WEB students efforts as they helped us welcome 7th grade students. This week they are working on ensuring no students eat lunch alone. WEB is essential part of our school culture

Friends Helping Friends Group
