YOUTUBE TIPS
KeepVid
KeepVid allows you to download and save YouTube videos to your computer.
- Go to YouTube and find your video.
- Copy the link from the URL Address bar.
- Go to KeepVid
- Paste the link in the box that says "enter the link of the video you want to download..."
- Click the Download button next to where you pasted the link.
BEWARE! Do NOT click on the larger download button underneath the box, this is an advertisement. - Click RUN on any Java prompts that appear.
Click on the link to the version you want to download and your download will begin (the video will be stored in your Downloads folder).
NOTE: Choose one of the MP4 file versions. Do not select one that says (Video Only) or no audio will be included in the file.
PureView
- Go to YouTube and find your video.
- Copy the link from the URL address bar.
- Go to ViewPure
- Paste the link in the box that says "Enter YouTube url or ID..."
- Click the 'Create' button.
- The video will be shown without any ads, video suggestions or comments.
- Copy the URL from the address bar to use instead of the YouTube link.
