It is an honor and privilege to serve our students and families as we prioritize the importance of cultural diversity and high expectations for all our learners. LGAM is a unique middle school that takes the time to make relationships with our students by having authentic conversations, conflict resolution via restorative circles, dancing with students during lunch, and even taking a break from daily duties to run the mile with our students.

We greatly appreciate the support we have received from students and families and we look forward to continuing to celebrate our amazing scholars throughout the new year. If you are ever in need of extra support and/or have a question, please do not hesitate to contact us via email. As always, we are happy to assist!

Students will be asked to have a parent or guardian sign the Progress Report and return it to their Advisory teacher. Once the Advisory teacher receives the signed copy, they will give the student a second copy to keep for your own records.

Please keep in mind that Progress Reports are not official grades and are not calculated into students' official GPAs. It is considered a halfway point.

Here is a timeline of when Progress and Report Cards will be sent home with students.

Q1 Progress Report Cards: The week of October 4th

Q1 Report Cards: The week of October 25th

Q2 Progress Report Cards: The week of December 6th

Q2 Report Cards: The week of January 18th

Q3 Progress Report Cards: The week of February 22nd

Q3 Report Cards: The week of March 21st

Q4 Progress Report Cards: The week of May 9th

Q4 Report Cards: The week of June 10th (These will be mailed home).

As summer has come to an end, here at SD Nights we like to keep the fun going on. Whether you are new to our program or have followed us since the beginning, we hope that you join us in one or in all our virtual events this month. SD Nights thanks you for joining/promoting our events!

We are excited to announce our upcoming Virtual events for October:

• Oct. 1- The Price is What? (5 -7 p.m.)
• Oct. 8- Truth or Laugh (5 - 7 p.m.)
• Oct. 12- Sketch Night (4 - 5:30 p.m.)
• Oct. 15- Showbiz Quiz ( 5 – 7 p.m.)
• Oct. 22- Murder Mystery (5 – 7 p.m.)
• Oct. 26- Sketch Night (4 - 5:30 p.m.)
• Oct. 29- Trick or Trivia ( 5 – 7 p.m.)

Wellness Wednesdays occurs every Wednesday from 5-6pm. Youth who are looking to become more active have the option to join one or both of our classes offered. Our 5:00 p.m. program offers a mix of boxing and cardio while the 5:30 program offers youth the opportunity to partake in some mindful yoga.
