What is your role at DWS? Second Grade Teacher
Do you have a fun fact or a favorite thing you would like to share about yourself? I was voted "Class Townie" when I graduated from Marshfield High School, and it might be true! I went to Eames Way, I work at Daniel Webster, and my own kids will go to South River in a few years. I love Marshfield!

Message From the Nurse
Please remember to send your students to school with a reusable water bottle and filling snack daily! The health office has a very limited supply of snacks available.
All students have a snack break during the day. Please pack a healthy snack EVERY DAY! Great snacks include easy-to-eat fruits and veggies like apples, oranges, carrots, and cucumbers as well as whole grain snacks including granola bars, crackers. Cheese sticks and yogurts are nother great options. These ideas help keep hungry bellies at bay and students ready to learn!
Have your child bring a water bottle to school EVERY DAY. The students have access to the bottle fillers and can refill their water bottles as needed throughout the day.

New Board Position:
The DWS PTO has a new Board position and we are seeking parents from DWS who may want to take on this role. The DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) Committee Liaison's role will be to attend and participate in the school's DEI committee meetings and will communicate with the PTO board and school as needed.
The PTO is also looking for an Enrichment Coordinator to join our Board. This position, currently held by Laura Grice, will be open at the end of this year. The Enrichment coordinator organizes enrichment programs for DWS and will need to communicate between the teachers/staff and the Board regarding programs.
Both positions are 2 year terms. Nominations will take place at our next scheduled meeting on Monday, 5/2/22 at 7PM in the DWS Library. Voting will take place on Monday, 6/6/22.
