Mrs. Waddill and Mrs. Teufel
These superstars transformed into expert writing teachers for an entire week in order to support our writing WOOT Camp. They extended themselves beyond their comfort zones and went above and beyond to make camp a success. Not only did they teach lessons to our campers, but they planned and coordinated our picnic, prizes, and much more. We could not pull off such a crazy scheme without their dedication and excellent attitudes. We are truly blessed to call them teammates! ~ Ms. Williams
Ms. Courtney
Ms. Courtney truly has a servant’s heart as she takes care of us every day all over the building. Working with her and seeing how she interacts with everyone is a blessing! She certainly has the gift of helping others! ~ Mrs. Simmons
Ms. Courtney makes a point to create a relationship with students. She is great!! ~Mrs. Wade
Mrs. Wade
Mrs. Wade made my son feel so welcomed! We moved to the area over Christmas break and he was a littler nervous to start a new school. Mrs Wade has been amazing and our first grader absolutely adores her and looks forward to school every day. She made the process so much easier on all of us. ~The Baker Family
I am honored to give a shout out to Traci Samek! She has been a blessing beyond measure to the SPED team at LaRue Miller Elementary, and I appreciate her EVERY DAY!!!
Traci has a special passion to educate students with special needs. She goes above and beyond to discover student needs, strengths, and to find ways to lift these students up. Traci advocates for her students to offer them the optimal environment for academic and social success in the classroom.
Traci is an amazing team leader who makes us laugh, always gets us anything we need, and is always available to collaborate on students or lessons.
Traci has created an awesome program where the students she services are thriving. Her students love her, they are starting to believe in themselves, advocate for their own learning, and are celebrating their successes. She is changing the futures of these students.
I had no idea how lucky I was when Traci said, “Yes, I will go back to special education”! I cannot wait to see what else we can accomplish together.
