Our Library in Full Bloom
This Spring has been a very busy time of year from battle of the Books, Makerspace Club, Fiesta book fair, returning all library books, and pledging to read this summer! Please take a moment to look below at all of the beautiful things we have done in the past two months. We have planted many seeds of knowledge that will last a lifetime!
April is for Poet-tree!
We read many poems about robots, bunnies, and so much more!
Poems gone digital!

Special Visitors!

Our First Challenge
Make a robot that can color on it's own using only a piece of a pool noodle, electric toothbrush, markers, and tape.
From this to that!
Club members worked together in teams to build catapults from very tiny pieces.
Weather Makers
Club members made a tornado in a jar and an exploding volcano.
Fiesta Book Fair

Getting ready for Summer & the 2017-2018 School Year

All library books were due on May 19th. Since we have about 870 students who check-out 2-3 books...there were a lot of books to be re-shelved but the library pages got right to work!
Summer Reading Programs
There are many programs that offer incentives for summer reading. Don't forget to visit our website for access to more information and reading logs.
Gus our Reading Buddy
Gus is back! He will be a reading buddy next school year! We met and started planning!
