FIELD DAY HUB
Today brings two important Field Day Deadlines-the last day to order your child's lunch AND the last day to reserve a spot in childcare if you are volunteering that day!
Field Day Lunch-ACTION REQUIRED FOR ALL PARENTS
You must click the link below and order lunch for your child/children for Field Day. The meal was paid for at registration, but you must submit a form for each of your students (if you have multiple kids, you'll need to fill out the form multiple times) so we know what to order for them.
All orders are due Friday, May 6th at 5:00 p.m.
2022 Field Day Lunch Order Form
If you are volunteering at Field Day and want to order lunch, you may use the same form to order a volunteer lunch (those are $10 ea and the form includes information on payment). If you will have a younger sibling in child care that day and wish to order lunch for them, you may also use this same form (those are also $10 ea and the form includes instructions for payment).
Last Call for Childcare on Field Day
If you are volunteering on Field Day and need childcare for kiddos who are not yet in school, please reserve their spot by 5pm Friday, May 6, by clicking the link below:

COVID-19 Updates
*Week of May 2nd, 2022-
Two new student cases.
***Our COVID-19 policies have changed for the remainder of the 2021-22 school year.
Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 are required to complete a 10-day isolation period beginning with symptom onset (or positive test).
Parents will be notified by email when a child is identified as close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Individuals who are identified as close contacts should self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. If symptom-free, SOSM does not require a quarantine period; however, it is highly recommended that individuals identified as a close contact wear a mask for 10 days following exposure.
**All-School Masses are now open to parents. We are also allowing some volunteers back into the building per teacher/principal request. And we will continue to open up events safely to the community.
COVID Testing: The Task Force has given approval for families to use either a PCR Test or a Molecular ID Test to return from quarantine.
The School of Saint Mary Health and Wellness Plan for 2021-22 is posted below. We want to remind everyone that we review data often and we are committed to our plan being an evolving document based on trends in our area.

We are offering listening sessions around the diocese to facilitate the gathering of input from our people. We are having a listening session here at the Church of Saint Mary on Saturday, May 7th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the new parish hall. -Father Jack
- St. Mary’s Funeral Luncheon Ministry is looking for new members. Serving includes fixing a side dish & delivering it to either the church or the loved ones home. This could be done at drop off if convenient. Usually you will only be asked to help 3-4 times a year. If you are interested, we also need servers to work a couple of hours during the luncheon. This is usually during school hours.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Please consider joining this beautiful ministry! I know you would love it!

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd:We're very excited to announce that the Church of St. Mary Catechesis of the Good Shepherd will be growing in the Fall of 2022! We will be offering Level 1 (ages 3-6), Level 2 (ages 6-9), and Level 3 (ages 9-12). This Montessori-based approach fosters a child’s relationship with God through the Scripture and Liturgy. The ultimate purpose of CGS is to help a child “fall in love with God.” We are currently in the process of creating our schedule for the 2022-2023 school year. We would like to accommodate the best we can to your schedules. If you are interested in having your child(ren) in the program or know someone who is, please contact Christine Hassink at chassink@churchofsaintmary.com for a student schedule survey. Thank you!
