Season of Service
2014
Justice Conversations and Conference!
Two great events this week stirred hearts and conversations towards various themes of Justice. On Wednesday evening, many gathered for the Serve Sacramento/E49 Mixer at Suite 2:10 to hear from a panel on the topic of Sexual Exploitation/Trafficking. We heard from local organizations who are doing great things to help fight this issue and were given tangible ways the Church can get involved. On Friday and Saturday, a live simulcast of the Justice Conference in LA was hosted at William Jessup University. We heard from leading global justice advocates, as well as two local voices for justice, John Jackson and Rev. Samuel Rodriguez. God has stirred believers and educated our minds to better engage our region for kingdom transformation that reflects God's heart of justice!
