What is a cash flow statement?
A financial statement that records a companies actual cash inflows and cash outflows over a defined period of time. It includes three sections: operating cash flow, investing cash flow, and financing cash flow.
What does it do?
The cash flow statement shows how much cash comes in and goes out of the company over the quarter or the year.
Where does the information come from?
The information on the cash flow statement comes from operating activities, investing activities, and financing activities.
What does it show?
The cash flow statement shows the operating cash flow, the investing cash flow, and the financing cash flow.
What sections are in it?
The cash flow statement includes three sections:
