Dance Training
Misty started dancing at her middle school, there she was chosen to be drill team captain. Her instructor at the time encouraged her to take ballet classes at a a nearby studio. Her ballet teacher realized early on that Misty was a prodigy. She then went on to take summer intensive classes at San Francisco Ballet, Lauridsen Ballet Centre, and most importantly American Ballet Theatre. She joined ABT and reached the rank of a soloist. She is now a principal dancer at American Ballet Theatre.

She has been in many of dances such as La Bayadére, Firebird, The Nutcraker, and variety of others.
