Tuesday
The Commissioner of The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Jeff Riley will be coming to Cape Cod Tech on Tuesday, October 8th from 11:30 - 12:30. However, he may be delayed by 10 minutes which could mean 11:40 - 12:40. Based upon his scheduled arrival time during lunches, we will most likely be meeting in the LGLC. During the visit, he would like to "make a presentation to a large group of teachers and students to highlight the state’s partnership with districts to implement deeper learning as our way forward." If your period 4 class would like to attend, please let my office know by the end of Monday.
All teachers are also invited.
I would like to see a mix of classes, so if your shop wanted first lunch to accommodate the presentation, please let me know. We will offer tables on the stage for that day.
Thanks,
Billy

Senior Project Survey
The mission of Senior Project is to create an opportunity for students to produce a culminating technical project that challenges them to demonstrate and display mastery of the technical, academic, and social skills needed for lifelong learning and success in a changing world.
One of our goals this year is to "Rediscover Senior Project" through the lens of the academies. In order to get a sense of what folks know and feel about Senior Project, Curran created a faculty survey to gather some data. We will use this and other methods to help rediscover and eventually re-imagine Senior Project. Please complete the survey prior to Tuesday so your voice can be heard.
