Through January 31st, employees can elect or make a one-time correction to their 2016 Benefit enrollments. If you need to make a change to your current benefit elections, please contact the Benefits Team at (360) 356-3400 to obtain the 2016 Open Enrollment Correction form.
Colonial Update
Colonial left the Prestige Plus Benefits Suite as of Dec 31, 2015. All premiums deducted from employee paychecks for the month of December have been sent to Colonial and are currently being reconciled to member accounts.
If you have an active policy through Colonial Insurance, you should no longer expect to receive deductions for Colonial premiums effective Jan 1, 2016. Moving forward, you will be responsible for handling your policies independently with Colonial. As Colonial finishes applying the final December payments, they will be reaching out to all active members regarding next steps to continuing their policy. If you have questions about your policy before then, please contact Colonial Insurance Customer Service at (800) 579-6707. As the transition takes place, policy numbers will not change for members.
The Prestige Plus Benefits Team is currently doing our due diligence in selecting a new voluntary insurance benefit carrier. More information will be released mid to late February.
Prestige Care 401(k) Plan
Effective Jan 1, 2016, there are several changes to the 401(k) Plan offered by Prestige Care. A summary of changes include:
- Name Change: Prestige Care 401(k) Plan
- New Hire Participation: newly hired employees may enroll the first of the month following 60-days of employment and at any time thereafter
- Eligible employee's may make election changes one-time per pay period
- Elections amounts will only be accepted in whole percentages (no flat dollar amounts)
A copy of the new Prestige Care 401(k) Plan Summary Description is attached and was made available online through Prestige Connect at www.PrestigeCare.com/Connect on Jan 1; paper copies may be requested by contacting the Prestige Plus Benefits Team.
