From Mrs. Woodring
Our Runners club culminated their work in participating in a 5K, She runs the Fox achieving their goal of running a 5K.
We celebrated our volunteers this morning with a volunteer breakfast hosted by our staff and student council. Two students read poems to express the meaning and importance of volunteerism. Thank you to all those that supported all of our events this year.
This upcoming Monday is our LAMPE day, which is similar to field day, a fun active day filled with, Library, Art, Music, PE and Empower days. Students will be outside for most of the days and out in the sun, so please send with sunscreen on, or hats and dressed appropriately.
Finally, next Wednesday our school will have our schoolwide Hot Dog Day, this is the only option provided by our lunch service top all, this correlates with a few class picnics. If your child does not like hot dogs, please send them with a different option.
Clap out information-
We will have our final clap out of our 5th graders, Friday, May 26th at the end of the day, this will be beginning at 2:45. 5th graders are encouraged to wear their middle school t-shirts, or Lincoln wear.
Students will walk throughout the the building for other grade levels to clap them out, and then the 5th graders will exit the kindergarten doors (on the southside). They will proceed to walk the southside of the building and then around the back blacktop. Parents can view and take photos and clap them out of Lincoln along the south patio or black top. The 5th graders will do a final walk around the playground and dismiss by the blue playground.

A reminder from the school nurse…
Please do not forget to pick up all medications by the last day of school! Those medicines not picked up by an adult by May 26th, will need to be disposed of. The only medications that can be given to a student to transport home are those that are allowed to be self carried (Epi Pens, Pancreatic Enzymes or inhalers). If there is a self carry form on file for one of those medications, please remind your student to stop in and pick up medication before leaving on the last day. All medication orders must be renewed each school year. Forms are linked below.
