Book Swap: Tuesday, November 20; During the day: All students are encouraged to bring in a leveled reader or chapter book they no longer read to SWAP out for a new-to-them book. This is a great way to "recycle" books and keep the students interested in reading. Classes that have 80% of its students participate, will earn a popcorn party! That's roughly 18 students in the class who NEED to participate to earn this party. Students who bring in more than 1 book will be allowed to take 1 extra book at the swap. All books over that are considered donations to make sure all students are able to take a book -- however, these donated books cannot be used towards the class goal of 80%. The goal is to have every student bring in at least one book, if at all possible. Please remember, the better the quality of books that come in means the better the quality of books that go home. We will collect books on Monday, Nov. 5 through Friday, Nov. 16th.
