Back To School
Arcado Elementary School
BACK TO SCHOOL information can be found on our school website. www.arcado.org/home
Class lists are posted on the cafeteria windows under the bus portico. If your child’s name is not on the list registration is not complete for enrollment. You will need to call the office 770-925-2100 (M-F 8am-3pm) to find out what documentation we need from you.
Open House/Meet Your Teacher is tomorrow. You can come any time during the hours of 1:00PM-4:00PM.
There are two ways you can pay for school contributions:
1. MyPaymentsPlus (this email includes several attachments on how to use MyPaymentsPlus)
2. In person- Friday, August 1 in the school cafeteria
This year we are offering an incentive to students whose parents pay for school contributions. You can bring your MyPaymentsPlus receipt or the receipt you receive when you pay in person. If you pay the total school contribution amount your child will receive an ice cream that day. Just go to the ice cream table to get your ticket. No ice cream is for sale that day.
Kids Love Ice Cream!
School Bus Transportation information will be available during Open House on Friday, August 1. We will have routes and times posted around the school building. A representative from transportation will be here to answer your questions.
CAR RIDER TAGS
During Meet Your Teacher Day you can obtain your car rider tags if you need them. This year, there will be a cost for the tags. You will receive two tags with the same number for $5.00. If lost, you will have to pay another $5.00 to obtain a new tag.
CAMPUS CLEAN UP
We have had lots of foot traffic on our campus this summer. Unfortunately, they have left trash around our campus. Our outdoor classroom is also full of weeds, grass, etc and needs some tender loving care. We will have a clean-up day on Sunday, August 3 from 1:00-3:00PM. Bring your gloves, garden tools, family, and water to stay cool. We are proud of our school and want it to look clean and beautiful!
See you tomorrow for Open House/Meet Your Teacher Day.
