A Message from our Assistant Principal.......
Today on my “One Year BEAR-a-versary”, I reflect on the past year in my life and am so glad that I am part of the Birmingham family. I have loved getting to know each of the students and their families. I feel so blessed to be part of an amazing family and can’t wait to see what the rest of this year and the 19-20 school year bring.
Thank you for welcoming me into the family and allowing me to be part of your babies’ lives.
Have a great weekend!
BEARy best wishes...

A Message from Nurse Abby.....
Happy Friday Bears!
Our stock of extra clothes in the clinic is very small, please wash and return any clothes if your child happened to use any. Thank you!
Please remember to follow our WISD policy for sick students. By keeping your child home, you are reducing the spread of germs that potentially cause illness. A student must be fever (100.0 or above), vomit and diarrhea free for 24 hours without the use of suppressing medications before returning to school.
Please send a refillable water bottle to school with your child. I try to stock the clinic with water for the students who have forgotten a water bottle for the day. If you are grabbing groceries this weekend, please consider donating a case of water to the clinic. Have a great weekend!
Stay Healthy,
Nurse Abby

Happy Friday Bears!
Day of Gratitude
Next Wednesday, April 17, is Day of Gratitude! We are asking all of our Bears to wear their Living the Dream shirts!
On this day, students will be learning about Gratitude and filling in their Ripples of Hope cards.
A great talking point at home this week would be, "Who has been your Ripple of Hope in your life?"
4th Grade Parents and Students!-
The date that students will be going to Davis Intermediate for their campus tours is Tuesday, April 23rd. Buses will take students from Birmingham to Davis from 8:30-9:30. Don't forget about turning in those permission forms!!
***Also, don't forget to attend the Parent Information meeting at Davis on Tuesday, April 30th from 6:30-7:30. There will be information on what their day will look like as well as their overnight field trip to Collin County Adventure Camp! Don't miss it!
Safety Patrol
Please make sure you are here for your scheduled time. If it is bad weather, you are to open the school doors for students to welcome them in. If you are unable to do Safety Patrol, please let me know. It is okay if it is not working out, but we just need to know. The next group is:
April 1-April 19 (Red Group)
April 22-May 10- (Blue Group)
May 13-May 23- (Green Group)
Bear Love,
