Now On Tour
Music's the medicine of the mind. ~John A. Logan
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved music. One of my earliest memories as a child was dancing along to "Kokomo" by The Beach Boys while on a family vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC. As I grew older, I started listening to the radio more frequently and quickly started singing every song that came on. You're probably thinking that this is going to teach you about my musical career, but no, I unfortunately never learned to play an instrument. And as many times as I thought I sounded like Mariah Carey as a kid, I now know that I have a terrible singing voice. However, this love of music has brought me to my favorite pass time- attending concerts. I like to think that I go on tour just as much as bands do. When a musician comes nearby (or even not near by) I try to get to as many shows as possible. My dad swears I pay Bruce Springsteen's mortgage! But, regardless of how many times I've seen a musician, I gain a new meaning or experience from the show. And to me, that's what music's about.
