Principal Message
Ray Community,
We finished another wonderful week at Reagan. We had Mother Goose on campus to read with our PK, Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade students. Five of our Golden Rays were able to get a book from the book vending machine. Mrs. Murphy and Mrs. Martin led acitivies around communication and collaboration with all of our students through extended planning. We celebrated school counselor week. We would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs. Martin who works with all students on our campus.
This next week brings Mrs. Murphy's birthday and LISD volunteer apprecitation week. We want to thank all of our volunteers who support our campus. We have wonderful community members who support Reagan by either being a part of our PTA, volunteering to read with students, help our teachers with instructional tasks that may arise, and sub on campus. We are lucky to have such a supportive community.
Wednesday is Valentine's Day. We will not be having class parties. However, your child may bring a card for their classmates if they choose. Your child's teacher should have more information on this in their weekly newsletter.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Alison Pennington

5th Grade Middle School Visits
Reagan 5th-grade students are scheduled to visit their zoned middle school on 2/23/2024.
Students will be bused to their zoned middle schools (Henry or Stiles) for a tour and an introduction to many of the activities offered. Students will eat lunch at the middle school before returning to Reagan. If you would like your child to purchase a meal, they may use their student ID number (current lunch account) or bring cash. Students also have the option of bringing a sack lunch. If your child is a voluntary transfer to Reagan and is not zoned for Henry or Stiles, please contact DeAnna.Martin@Leanderisd.org if we have not already discussed your child's situation. Please double-check your child's zoned middle school as Leander ISD has made changes to the zoning that was in place for the 2023-2024 school year. Be sure your address and contact information are correct in the Home Access Center. This is the information the district uses for our feeder pattern. Please complete the Acknowledgement form so your child can attend the visit with his/her peers.
