HERO Math Workbook
All fourth grade students are working on their HERO math workbooks to earn their HERO t-shirt. All classes have had their first check. The next workbook check will be the 2nd week in December. Students are expected to have correctly completed at least 50 of the problems. All word problems must include written explanations and all other problems must have work present to earn credit.
*Students are encouraged to complete one problem per night.
4th Grade Fine Arts Night
Tuesday, November 19th at 6:00 pm.
Colonial Day!
Our grade level will be participating in a fun and educational Colonial Day on Monday, November 25th. Students will be involved in hands-on activities appropriate to the Colonial Time period. We will even be having a special lunch of soups and cornbread. Letters with more information were sent home with students the week of November 4th.
Please be advised of JBE's Dress Code:
Appropriate Attire:
Skirts, shorts, and skorts must be at least fingertip length or longer when standing
Clothing must cover undergarments
Pants, shorts, skirts, or skorts must be worn at the waist
Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times
Inappropriate Attire:
Hats, head scarves, bandanas, and sunglasses inside the building
Tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, and tops with string straps unless covered by a shirt at all times
Bare midriffs and backs and low-cut blouses
See-through garments
Holes in clothing are not allowed above fingertip length with or without undergarments
No hair or body paint may be worn to school
Leggings or tights worn as pants
Sagging pants
Clothing/jewelry displaying alcohol, tobacco or controlled substance advertisements, vulgar writing, symbols, sexual preference, violence, racial or ethnic slurs or degradations
