The Center for Scholarship Administration

The Center for Scholarship Administration is proud to serve as the administrator of the following scholarship programs. The funds are provided through the generosity of corporations, foundations, individuals and trust funds.
All of these programs require that you submit information from other sources. It is imperative that you read the Guidelines and Instructions prior to starting your on-line application process so that you will have the information readily available. Please print this information. Answers to most of your questions will be covered here. After you read the Guidelines and Instructions you will be able to apply online for the scholarship of your choice.

Harry Hampton Fund Scholarships

- Harry Hampton Scholarship: $5,000/year up to 4 years($20,000) for students interested in majoring in natural resources disciplines of wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry, marine or environmental science.
- Wallace F. Pate Scholarship: One time $1,500 for students interested in majoring in natural resources disciplines of wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry, marine or environmental science.
- David M. Cline Scholarship: One time $2,000 for students who wish to further their education in law enforcement, criminal justice, or forensic science.
- James O. Thomason Scholarship: $2,000/year for up to 4 years ($8,000) for students who wish to further their education in print or photo journalism, advertising, public relations, or mass communications.

James F Byrnes Scholarship

Eligibility:
- One or both parents deceased
- United States citizen and SC resident
- Planning to pursue a bachelor's degree at an accredited 4-year college or university
- Have a satisfactory academic record
- Have received an SAT or ACT score
- Demonstrate excellence in character, ability, and enterprise to indicate that the student will make worthwhile contributions to society.
- Have need for financial assistance in order to attend college.
Aiken Electric Cooperative 2-year Touchstone Energy Scholarship
Deadline: March 1, 2016
Amount: $1,000
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in the cooperative service area planning to attend a 2-year technical college.

Aiken Electric Cooperative 4-Year Touchstone Energy Scholarship

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in the cooperative service area planning to attend a 4-year college or university.

Aiken Electric Cooperative Trustee Scholarship
Deadline: March 1, 2016
Amount: $1,000
A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in the cooperative service area. The student must complete the application and submit a 150-200 word explanation as to why the scholarship is needed.

Mid- Carolina Electric Cooperative Scholarship
Deadline: March 1, 2016 (to the Counseling & Advisement Office)
Amount: $3,000

Eligibility:
- Primary residence must receive electricity from Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative
- Need financial assistance
- be a high school senior
- have at least a B grade average
- are active in service to others
- are goal oriented with a solid educational plan for the future
- will NOT receive numerous or full scholarships/grants

National College Funding Services
Amount: $500
You must be a senior in order to participate. A drawing will be held April 1. One entry per student.

The Lucretia M. Cayruth Scholarship of The American Business Women's Association
Amount: Varies
Eligibility:
- United States citizen
- Planning to attend an accredited technical school, college or university within the continental United States
- A GPA of 2.5-4.0

Lexington Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship
Deadline: March 15, 2016
Eligibility:
- High school seniors planning to major in nursing at a two or four year college

The South Carolina Education Association - Retired Scholarship
Amount: $4,000
Eligibility:
- Must be a senior graduation from a public high school in SC
- Must plan to attend a 4-year college or university within SC
- Must plan to pursue a career in education
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must demonstrate leadership abilities
- Must need financial assistance

Lexington District One Office Professionals Scholarship
Amount: $600
Eligibility:
1. The student is a graduating senior who plans to attend an accredited two or four year institution in the fall 2016 term.
2. The student is pursuing a degree in a Business program (Computer Science, Advertising, Marketing, Accounting, etc.)
3. The student has maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA in high school.
4. The student is a United States citizen and a resident of South Carolina.
5. The student demonstrates though grades, character, and commitment a potential success as an office professional.
