Week of March 18th - 22nd, 2019
Accomplishments
I know I won't remember them all and you could easily add to this list, but here goes:
1. Started a very successful pre-school program
2. We all advocate for student needs both academic/behavior
3. Over 80% of students in each classroom are meeting their weekly 45 minute with passing scores in iReady math
4. Most students are growing in Raz, improving in reading levels
5. Students are receiving monthly lessons on Character Counts
6. Social skills groups were created in each grade level ad they meet weekly with the guidance counselor
7. Bus referrals have decreased this school year compared to years past
8. Grade level collaborations have been the most productive this school year
9. Students are excited to share with office when they have a great day of behavior
10. You have all stressed that Ready math is getting easier for the students/more productive as the year is progressing
11. With less Title staff time, we are able to service as many students as years past
12. Flexible seating was a hit with kids
13. Makerspace room is utilized and kids LOVE to share their creations, you are implementing the 4 C's more this year within your lessons
14. Many older students are helping and mentoring younger students
15. We pulled together as a staff and NS family to help some families in need
16. Partnered with Pine Hills church to help NS families
17. Phenomenal Veteran's Day program
18. Two Gallery Walks that were a success
19. PBIS re-vamped and being more successful, kids love to shop
20. Hosted a successful math bowl
21. Great winter music program
22. PTO has worked hard to provide great family events this year
23. Our robotics team went to state
24. We have gotten creative in handling challenging students and situations
25. Collaborating with other buildings
26. Individual student academic successes are shared with multiple staff to show excitement and praise for students
27. Made it through 5 days of e-learning. No parent complaints!!!
28. Adding purposeful play/student game/activity time to schedules
29. Many students are earning their weekly fun day
30. PLTW is fun for students as they learn/master their science standards
31. Parent communication is strong - want to know how I know this.......I don't receive many phone calls myself with questions and concerns
32. Our attendance initiative
33. Focus on small group instruction over whole group with rotations

In education, we always hear about the negative, it is our turn to stop and look at all of our wonderful things we have accomplished this year and it takes our WHOLE TEAM to make them happen!
THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK, DEDICATION AND SACRIFICES TO BE THERE FOR OUR STUDENTS AND EACH OTHER!!!!! WE HAVE SO MUCH TO BE PROUD OF, PLEASE DON'T EVER FORGET THAT!!!!!
