Let The Office Know!
If your child is absent, you must email or call the office. Often the teacher is emailed, but that information does not always make it to the office. This results in an unexcused absence. Please add the office email to your attendance emails!

7 Mindsets with Mrs. McIntire
This month we are focusing on the mindset, Attitude of Gratitude, which teaches us to seek the positives from every experience and be thankful for all that you have. Last week, our focus was on ourselves, recognizing our strengths and learning to treasure ourselves. This week we will be focusing on being more grateful, choosing to focus on the good over the bad in every experience. What we focus on, magnifies. So choose to find the good, focus on the good.
In classroom lessons, I will be talking with students about ways to resolve conflict with others. Conflict resolution skills are important life skills for all of us. Friendship issues can easily get in the way of students being able to focus and do their best learning, so it is important to give them the tools to be able to manage that effectively and with confidence. Adults are always here to mediate and support, but ultimately we want to empower kids by giving them strategies to handle hard situations.

BES Wish List
We have been asked about a schoolwide wish list. We put some hot ticket items, some incentive items, and more items that our teachers would love to have to help students in fun, meaningful ways. We will add to it throughout the year. Thank you for your support and generosity!
