A Message from Mr. Pascale, PTSA President
Dear Wilder Families,
We hope you all are well and enjoying this warmer weather as we head into the final stretch of the school year.
There are a couple of items we need your assistance with! We are providing some treats and goodies for the staff this week for appreciation (don’t want to mention specifics so it doesn’t blow surprise if any teachers are reading). If you wanted to contribute a small donation towards this you can do so at https://wilder.memberhub.store/store. This will also go towards some things for the students and contribution towards the 8th grade graduating class. If you wanted to contribute something tangible for appreciation week, please feel free to contact Jason Pascale at president@wilderptsa.org.
We also are in need of Board members for 2021-22 school year. We will need some folks to step in as President, Secretary, Treasurer and VP of Programs. We would love to have a diverse representation from our entire Wilder Family. Please email board@wilderptsa.org if you would like to be considered as a nominee.
Lastly, if any of you wanted to participate in a WMS directory so you can connect with other parents and students outside of school and over the Summer months, we’d love for you to participate in completing a Google form so we can include you. https://forms.gle/WsnCjXukzRasVXfS9
Thank you!
Jason Pascale,
On Behalf of the Wilder PTSA Board
May 18 and May 25-asynchronous work days
Due to in person SOL testing and the need for teachers and staff to administer these assessments, we will have mostly asynchronous work days on Tuesday, May 18th and Tuesday, May 25th, 2021. Students, both virtual and in person ARE STILL EXPECTED TO ATTEND ADVISORY at 8:30 on these days as usual. Much like Wellness Wednesdays, students who do not log on/attend advisory on these days will be marked absent unexcused unless our attendance office is otherwise notified.
Teachers will provide assignments and activities for students to complete and will be sure students are aware of their location in Schoology and their expectations.
Please contact Tommy Golden, Coordinator of Assessment, with any questions.
