All Star Classes for National & Local Levels
We can’t stress enough the importance of attending the All Star Classes. You should plan to attend at least 1, but we prefer 2 per week. During that time you need to do 8 solos, 4 super-x struts, (or basic strut depending on your level), 3 modeling routines, 4 two-baton routines, (if you have a 2-baton routine), and your team tricks. Each team member is responsible for practicing their team tricks. A list of these tricks is given out during team practice. Your goal is to be consistent & with proper form on these tricks. Please try to attend one stretch class a week.
All Star Classes are held at the following times and locations:
Monday Bailey Bridge Middle School – All Star & Stretch Class 5:30 – 6:30
Tuesday Bailey Bridge Middle School 5:30 – 6:30
Wednesday Bailey Bridge Middle School 5:30 – 6:30
Thursday Bailey Bridge Middle School 5:30 – 6:30
Friday Bailey Bridge Middle School – OPEN GYM – You must have an adult with you to participate in this. 5:30 – 8:00

Twirler of the Month - Laurel Shenton
How long have you been twirling? 5 years
How old are you? 14 years old
What’s your favorite part of being a Royalette? The friends at baton that I've made and enjoy spending time with would defiantly be one of the many things I like being a Royalette. Everyone is so welcoming. We're all like one big family!
What is your favorite trick? Toss under left leg, catch under right leg
What is your goal for the 2015-2016 Twirling Season? Four spin and one spin illusion!
A Beautiful Dance Routine for your Enjoyment
Each Twirler should have....
Each twirler should have a first aid kit in their baton bag. It should contain an ice pack, band aids, and Tylenol at a minimum. Please also make sure you have extra hair ties, bobby pins, etc, to keep your hair out of your face.
Each Twirler should have a notebook. Bring this notebook to each & every practice, and private lesson. You will need to write your goals in here, make notes on tricks you should be working on and making notes on private lessons that you’ve had so that you don’t forget what you’ve learned.
Remember:
- Attend All Star Classes
- Do your best for your team and yourself
- Bring your notebook
- Bring your water bottle
- Wear your practice outfit to all team practices
- Put your hair up in a bun for practice (Girl’s only)
- Practice hard
- Be a Champion
- Be your best self
Thanks for helping make the Royalettes #1 --- Diane Gunnels, Director
