EB EdCamp Exit 9 is an opportunity for parents, community members, and educators to come together to learn about how to help students achieve more. Our goal is to provide accessible professional development for anyone who wants to impact student achievement and to learn more about what happens in classrooms throughout the state. We will be providing sessions to accommodate all attendees, regardless of your level of influence over students, and hope you're able to take away some great tools and resources to use with students!

Some possible topics which are especially recommended for parents will be: Family Engagement in the Schools, Social Justice in Our Community, Google Platform, Online Safety for Parents to just name a few.

The EdCamp will also have mini-sessions and food trucks at the end of the event with an opportunity to interact and discuss with fellow educators.

IHM EdCamp is October 27, 2018 from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM at Villa Maria Academy. This FREE professional development day is created for educators by educators. This is a day for YOU to have fun and enjoy. Come ready and excited to learn, teach, and dialogue with other educators. The program is created by participants on the day of Edcamp. Answer a question, build your learning or brainstorm solutions. You choose what sessions to attend based on your interests. If you find a session doesn't serve your needs, apply the rule of two feet and choose a different one. You are in charge of your day! Light refreshments will be provided for breakfast. All EdCamp sessions are designed and facilitated by YOU! This allows our event to be truly teacher-led and teacher-driven. Our session boards will be solidified the morning of our EdCamp.
