Additional Individual Participant Information Needed
We are very excited you as a participant are able to join us in Herndon for our Central Region Academic Leaders Summit. You are receiving this communication as you have been listed as a participant for the CR March Summit and we need additional information from you.
As a participant we need to gather some additional information from you:
- Arrival/Departure information
- Dietary restrictions/preferences
- Let us know if you will be joining us at the Monday evening Welcome Reception
- Let us know if you are interested in a DC Sunset/Night Bus Tour
- Fill in the participant information by no later than Monday, February 22th.
- IMPORTANT: Complete hotel reservations no later than Friday, February 19th.
We are excited you will be joining us to collaborate on the Academic Plan!

Essential CR Summit Information
Booking Travel & Accommodations
As you book your travel for the CR Summit in Herndon, VA, please note that we will officially kick off our CR March Summit on Monday, February 29th. More details regarding the evening event forthcoming. Please ensure that participants book their flights to arrive in Herndon, VA no later than 6:00pm on Monday, February 29th and that departure flights leave no earlier than 2:30pm on Thursday, March 3rd.
It is recommended that you fly into Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) which is only a few miles from the K12 Corporate Offices and Hotel.
We have reserved a block of rooms at a hotel as we would like everyone to stay at the same location:
- Sheraton Dulles Airport Hotel: 13715 Sayward Blvd, Herndon, VA 20171
- Guest check-in time: 3pm
- Guest check-out time: 12pm
You will need to book your hotel room through the following link below. Please use this link below to book your hotel room rather than booking through the K12 travel agent.
The meeting will be held at the K12 corporate office in rooms: 1005, 1006, 1007 and 6200. The address to the K12 Corporate office is below. Be sure to bring a light jacket, as the rooms in the K12 offices tend to get cool.
