This organization provides great professional development opportunities in New York. They offer a lot of support and resources to teachers who wish to learn how to both use and incorporate technology in education.
ITSE
This organization provides standards that can be used when developing curriculums that incorporate technology. They also provide great events and workshops including their annual conference. ISTE supports teachers and technology instructional by providing resources and establishing a community for people to collaborate.

I currently am a level 1 certified Google Educator. My goal is to continue my path to eventually become a certified Google Innovator and a trainer. Having these certifications will open doors for me to do workshops and professional development.
