2. If your child is an ELL student, you do not need to schedule a parent teacher conference on Pick-a-time. Look for the yellow form being sent home from the ELL teachers with your scheduled parent-teacher conference day and time. Please sign and return to school with your child.

A note from Mr. Thompson (see attached file underneath)
We kicked off our Kids Heart Challenge program this week—formerly Jump Rope for Heart—and our school's in class event is right around the corner! We are thrilled to participate as we work together to raise money for the American Heart Association and learn how nutrition and being active can help us live longer, healthier lives.
This year we are excited to welcome the Heart Heroes to our school. Over the next few weeks, the characters will share important messages about keeping their heart healthy, building self-confidence and helping others. The first step is getting your student registered and taking a challenge…when they do this, they will receive their free glow-in-the-dark wristband and join the Heart Heroes.
CLICK HERE to register your student for our Kids Heart Challenge or copy and paste this link: http://www2.heart.org/site/TR?fr_id=3998&pg=company&company_id=162221&s_hasSecureSession=true

Download the Kids Heart Challenge app to bring the wristband and any Heart Heroes to life.
Your student can earn the Heart Hero characters and additional gifts by asking friends and family to make donations in the support of the American Heart Association.
Thank you so much for supporting our school and the American Heart Association. We know you can do this!
