ACT Practice - February 8
Students must sign up in advance for the Practice ACT to ensure we have enough materials, space and staff available. Sign up closed on Friday, January 24th but students who are still interested can sign up in Student Services.
Juniors - Begin Preparing for the ACT today!
A mandatory pre-administration session will be held Wednesday, February 26th during Prime Time. It is vital that all Junior students attend this meeting. Students will not be allowed to test until the pre-administration session materials are complete. Please plan accordingly.
Important Information For ACT Testing (March 3rd)
- Students will need to bring a photo ID (drivers license or school ID; school ID's can be reissued in the main office for a fee of $10)
- Students should also bring sharpened number 2 pencils with good erasers (no mechanical pencils or ink pens) and an ACT approved calculator
- All other personal items (such as backpacks, coats, etc) are not allowed in the testing room
- Absolutely no electronic devices are allowed in the testing room. This includes cell phones, smart watches, fitness bands, watches with alarms, etc.

Personality and Career Presentations
School Counselors will be presenting to students in Communications classes on personality. Each student will have the opportunity to take a personality test and gain insights on their personality type. They will learn about strengths and weaknesses and how their personality may influence relationships as well as career paths and workplace habits.

As students complete their sophomore year and look forward to their junior and senior years, career exploration and planning is vital. Depending upon what road your son or daughter plans to take (college, technical college, military or the world of work), now is the time to start planning.

We are fortunate to have a great working relationship with the nurses in Chippewa County Public Health Department. They are available to facilitate groups and meet with qualifying students on overall health and nutrition.
