We have made it! Here we are in May. It is hard to believe how fast the year has gone! We are beyond proud of all that our Tigers have accomplished this year and we cannot wait to celebrate their success this month. We are excited for all that the fun that comes with the end of a school year. We do not take for granted the fact that the majority of our students may have yet to experience fun things such as field day due to covid, so we plan to make some amazing memories in the next few weeks. Thank you for letting us serve as the leaders of your child's school this year. We are grateful to have a wonderful group of teachers, staff, and parents to work with in order to give our Burt Tigers the best education we can each and every day. We hope everyone finds some time to relax and recharge this summer and we look forward to seeing you next school year!

My name is Joy Rice and I am currently serving as President of the Middle School Hawks PTO. Based on the CMCSS approved SSO roster we are only one of two Middle School PTO's up and running this year and we want to make sure we are still on that list next year! Our PTO Board is made up of a high functioning, totally committed group of parents but between students moving on to high school and our rezoning to Kirkwood Middle, we will lose our President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary at the end of this year.
