Filling sails with knowledge and character for a successful life voyage

Happy 100th day, Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Vacation!

2nd Grade Enrichment Projects

Lillian, Adequoyah, Julian and Kara presented all of their recent learning about simple machines. They each created one machine and shared this with their peers and parents. Each classmate then created their own marshmallow shooter with support from the student presenters. You can imagine the excitement! Perhaps students will make their own machines at home during the vacation week!

Thank you to Mrs. Gaskill for all of her support and guidance.

Dave the Bug Guy visits 2nd Grade

Our 2nd graders learned even more about bugs today from our visitor, Dave. He shared his wealth of knowledge about many species and students posed many great questions. Josh knew the answer to a very challenging question and earned two tickets to the Zoo! Thank you to the PTO for funding this wonderful presentation for our students!
