Crestview Physical Education
September Newsletter
Welcome to Crestview PE!!
We are committed to providing your child with a well-rounded physical education exeperience in safe and fun environment. This newsletter will be sent out monthly, at least, to inform you of all of the happenings in Physical Education. We love visitors, and invite you to join your child at any time during the school year! Make sure to ask your kids about what is going on in PE!!!
Tennis Shoes
We see the students 4x/week for PE. PLEASE make sure your child has tennis shoes for optimal play and safety. If you need assistance with tennis shoes, please reach out to me at my contact information below.
Roller Skating
You child should have a roller-skating permission slip that is coming home with them. Our roller-skating unit starts Thursday, October 10 for grades K-5. Please make sure to get the permission slip back ASAP so your child doesn't miss out on this great unit! Thank you to our PTA for funding this wonderful 5 day unit!
District 833 Cross Country Meet
Check out this opportunity for your child to compete in the annual District 833 Cross Country Meet. This is available for students in grades 3-5. The cost is $2 and is held at Bailey Elementary on Tuesday, October 9th. The meet is an after school event, so students would need a ride from a parent/guardian to be able to participate. Pre-registrations can be turned into me. Registration deadline is the day of the race. Please contact me if you have any questions.
PE Pledge
This is what we strive to achieve each day in Physical Education. Together we can!
Cardinal Shout Outs
Each day, the students are given an opportunity to write a SHOUT OUT to classmates when they observe each other following our PE Pledge. This is an optional opportunity to lift someone's day and recognize them for their hard work and kindness!
October Sneak Peek
Here is a sneak peek of our October Units:

TENNIS SHOE DONATIONS NEEDED!!!
Have your kids outgrown tennis shoes? Are they just lying around your house, taking up space? I am need of used, wearable condition tennis shoes for PE. Sometimes students forget their tennis shoes for PE. Instead of them not being able to participate, I have shoe lockers where students can borrow tennis shoes for PE class. I am need of sizes 11Youth - 10 adult. Please consider donating your child's old tennis shoes to Crestview PE. Thank you!!!!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS - CRESTVIEW FUNDRAISER!!!!
On Friday, October 12 we will have our annual school fundraiser. This year we are investing in your child's health and wellness. Our fundraiser will take place during the school day as your child will participate in a "Fund Run" and working hard to support the monetary pledges they raised. At the culmination of their time, each student will receive a healthy snack to enjoy. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED! Please be on the lookout for more information from the Crestview PTA.
