This Week's Theme: MOTIVATION
What is motivation? Motivation is anything that provides someone with direction, intensity, and persistence in their behavior. That means that you choose what you are doing (direction), you put an effort toward doing it (intensity), and you are willing to do it over time (persistence).
So how can you increase your motivation?
- Set a goal.
Make it something that interests you. Or if someone gave you a goal, find something in it that interests you. (This can be tough to do, but ask yourself what you could get out of it!) - Break up your goal into small, manageable pieces.
Tackle one at a time so that you don't feel overwhelmed. - Reward yourself when you meet your goal!
Even if it is something small, or just taking a moment to recognize your accomplishment, acknowledge how hard you worked! - Don't do it alone.
Find someone to do it with you or to help you.
Are you ready to tackle something new? Tackle a 30-Day Challenge in an area that interests you. Page down to give it a try!
