What is happening at Glenwood, May 29, 2020
News from Dr. Cappucci
Our thoughts are with the Rutland Police Department and the Songy Family. He will be missed by Glenwood Staff and students.
Remembering Donald Marsh and Robert "Pete" Harding
I have attached a picture of Donald and Charles Marsh. During that time, Donald Marsh was the principal of Rutland school. His brother Charles was the owner of Marsh Oil in Rutland and the namesake of Marsh Little league field.
Both of these men, are great grandfathers to Madelyn Mills and Braelynn Connolly, our proud Glenwood students!
Please join me in remembering Donald Marsh, whose son survived due to his heroic act, and Pete Harding.
Pick up of students' belongings. Please see the attached schedule.

* For all grade levels
It is imperative that students are now logging into Google classrooms. All grade levels have worked together to keep our students engaged and motivated in their work. The easiest way students can access their Google Classroom is through Clever (https://www.clever.com/in/wrsdk12)or the Chrome app. Google Classroom can also be accessed at classroom.google.com. If using the latter, you will need to request the classroom code from your child’s home room teacher.
* This is another important announcement. We have realized that you are getting an email every time we post an assignment -- this can make things very confusing! Here is how to stop that from happening:
1) Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the window.
2) On the tab that opens up, click on "Settings."
3) Scroll down and uncheck "work and other posts from teachers."
4) You can also uncheck "due date reminders for your work."
5) If your parents joined our classroom, please let them know they can do this as well.
LEAVE THE OTHER THINGS CHECKED. That way you can still receive work and comments from us. Let us know if you have any questions!
*Most of our students continue to work everyday and teachers are excited to see their progress. If your child is struggling to complete assignments, please reach out to classroom teachers or me. I would be happy to talk to any child that is having a difficult time.
Thank you Ian and Dianah Butterfield for creating this video.

It feels like a very long time until we are back together again so I have decided to give you a sneak peak into our homes. I bet you were all imagining what your teachers have been doing these last few days. Well, imagine no more. Here is a sneak peak!
