Franklin County 4-H Cloverbud Fall Fun Day


Cloverbud Fall Fun Day is presented by the Franklin County 4-H Council and will be held at the Kunz-Brundige Franklin County Extension Building, 2548 Carmack Road, Columbus, Ohio 43210 on Sunday, October 24, 2021, 2-4pm. This event is open to all Franklin 4-H Cloverbud members. Participants can expect an event full of fun by participating in pressing apples, painting pumpkins, making delicious fall snacks, and constructing awesome autumn crafts! There is a fee of $10.00 to cover the cost of supplies. Payment can be made via credit card, check, or cash. Details can be found in the registration survey.


Parents will drop off Cloverbuds at 2:00pm and pick-up will be promptly at 4:00pm. Supervision of this event will be provided by Franklin County 4-H volunteers, staff, and teen camp counselors.

4-H Meetings and Health Guidelines

Don't forget that all 4-H clubs are required to follow the Ohio 4-H guidelines for in-person meetings and events. In addition to the Ohio 4-H guidelines, clubs must follow state/local health department COVID guidance, if issued.

CARTEENS Teen Opportunity

4-H CARTEENS is a program taught to teens by teens to help reduce the number of second time traffic offenders in Ohio. Become a teen facilitator today! All participants that you will be teaching have been mandated by the courts to attend.


We are currently looking for 4-H'ers and other youth who have at least a learner’s permit to present at CARTEENS. Benefits of becoming involved in CARTEENS are:

- You can receive service credits which can be used for graduation.

- College scholarships are available for active CARTEENS presenters

- Fun! Friends! A chance to brush up on your public speaking skills!

4-H Teen Opportunity Newsletter

Coming soon! 4-H members interested in some of the awesome teen leadership opportunities in Franklin County and beyond should keep an eye out for the annual teen opportunity newsletter. It's set to be sent out in the coming weeks and includes information about applying for opportunities like:


  • 4-H Camp Counselors
  • Teen Leaders Council
  • Fashion Board
  • Ohio 4-H Achievement Awards
  • State and National Trip Awards

4-H Volunteer/Club Advisor Orientation

Are you or someone you know interested in becoming a 4-H Volunteer and helping a 4-H Club? 4-H Advisors must be screened Ohio 4-H Volunteers. This process takes several steps. One of which is to attend an orientation. Two are currently scheduled for the 2021-2022 4-H year.
