BHS Football Players Help with Car Riders- Buckhorn Football players (Hayden, Austin, Amanhi, Ian, Will, & Riley) volunteered Friday, August 10 to help with morning car riders. The students were so excited to see all the “big boys” opening their doors. It was a VERY rainy morning which made this act of kindness all the more special.

Big Welcome Back!

Summer Athletic Camps
The football team and the softball team hosted youth camps during the summer. Both camps were well attended and our high school players enjoyed helping teach fundamentals to the younger players.

Camp Invention
This summer Owens Cross Roads Elementary was awarded a grant of $25,000 for 110 of their students to attend Camp Invention. The STEM camp taught science and technology concepts, allowed for hands on learning and introduced the students to a variety of possible careers. All of the families and teachers are so thankful to the AEOP for their sponsorship!
BOOKS FOR ALL!
Education Partner Northrop Grumman Professional Development held a Fill-the-Bus campaign to provide school supplies for Endeavor’s students and classrooms. Alex Olive delivered these awesome backpacks and lots of boxes of goodies to Ms. Mardis.
Fifth graders started the year off right with a fast and fun numerical expression matching game.
AIM 4 PIE!
Students played AIM 4 PIE at EES. Each team selects a spelling word, then races to find a ball with a letter on it. With each correctly spelled word, the team earns a piece of “pie”. Academics In Motion 4 Physical Intensity Everyday.

The halls of SMS received a facelift over the summer. Paint and plenty of elbow grease went into getting the school ready for students to return. The new signs, photos, and graphics look amazing!
