What is this flyer about?
I'm trying to inform citizens on how to vote in their state or in the US. People can vote for anything, from senator to president. Voting makes you a more important citizen for yourself and your country.
Voting Requirements
How to qualify to vote
To vote, you have to be:
1. 18 years of age
2. A United States born citizen
3. Registered to vote in your own state
Ways to register to vote
If you aren't registered to vote in your own state, there are several ways you can get registered.
1. You can register at your a local DMV in your state.
2. You can fill out the registration form
3. You can mail a registration application to the Boards of Elections office.
4. You can fax a registration application to the Boards of Elections office.
North Carolina registration deadlines
The deadline for voting in North Carolina is 25 days before Election Day. The registration application must be received by the applicant's county boards of elections by Election Day.
Military, Out of State, and Overseas voting
If you are serving in the military, serving overseas, or you know you are going to be out of state on election day, you still can vote.
1. You can fill out the Absentee Ballot for those who can still vote if they missed Election Day.
2. You can also fill out the Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot.
