What are the uses of nuclear power?
Most power plants burn fuel to produce electricity. However, nuclear power plants use the heat given off during fission on fuel.
Nuclear material is used for many things besides nuclear power and nuclear bomb.
· To detect and treat certain illness.
· To perform research at universities.
· To help in industries for such things as locating cracks in steel, getting rid of dust from flim and even measuring the amount of air whipped into ice cream.
· Last, but not the least, for X-ray.
