Powerschool Updates
Some of you may have already noticed that I have added a few new things to our PowerSchool system….
1.) A new alert has been added that is a chronic absence alert. It is a circle with an exclamation point. This alert evaluates on the number of days the student is enrolled for this year and then how many days they have been absent. If the attendance falls below 90% then the alert will appear. There is not currently a search on this alert….If you do click on the alert it will provide you the details of the percent of the absence.
2.) New student screen – on an individual student you will find a new screen called missing assignments. Details the missing assignments out of the gradebook.
3.) Ability to mass print a student screen is now available through Firefox. When you have a selected group of students the choice to mass print student screens now works. It is a different setup than previous function but easy enough to follow.
