ASB Great Wolf Fund Run

If you haven't had a chance to check out 99Pledges, yet, we think you'll like this easy way to really boost Selkirk's ASB efforts! Using your individual student link, you will be able to reach out to friends and family by email, Facebook, and Twitter, instead of going door-to-door, tracking commitments, and handling checks.

Remember, each student who collects $20 or more, gets a t-shirt! We would love for ALL of our WOLF PACK to earn this sweet swag!

You received an email with a link to your child’s online pledge page last Friday. We will resend it today. You do not need to log in or change anything. All you have to do is make a donation for whatever amount you can, and share your participant's link with friends and family. We are shooting for 100% participation so no amount is too small.

If you do not receive the email for whatever reason, simply search and find your child’s pledge page here: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/selkirkwolves

Here is some sample sharing text:

" NAME is participating in a fundraiser, and would love your support. If you'd like to donate, you can do so online at the following link: YOUR PLEDGE PAGE LINK

Students will be able to earn a Selkirk T-shirt if they collect over $20 in pledges.

Thanks for your support!"

Positives for our Wolf PACK

Thursday, students completed a Rewards Interest Survey letting us know their ideas for raffle prizes. One of my favorite responses: I think you are pretty smart and know what to do.

Teachers are selecting PACK Character Awards again this week, honoring students who follow PACK Expectations or who are working towards a goal.

Next week we are working on a "No Tardies" goal. At some point, Mrs. Hurst and Mr. Larsen will be bringing warm cookies out to random classrooms. If no one was tardy, they'll celebrate with a No Tardy Party! If any students were tardy, those cookies move on to another room.

Congrats to Nevaeh who was drawn for 20 min. of recess in a class period of your choice.

Our next 5 raffles include:

  • song requests for our Fund Run
  • 2 wireless, bluetooth speakers
  • pumpkin pancakes for a class period of your choice
  • 2 movie tickets

Students can earn raffle tickets by trading in 10 Wolf Bucks or by being selected by a teacher for a PACK Character Award. Students can select which raffle they most want to enter.
